I was up around $300 by noon time, but that mid afternoon drop wiped out all of my profits plus more. One of these days, I’d like to be able to recognize these freefalls and play them accordingly. I guess “recognize” is not the right word because I did see the pattern, but I just [...]

Played some golf at Little Bennett this weekend. I shot a 109…ewe. Definitely need some work on my golf game. I was hacking away for the most part, but I did have a few moments of brilliance. Don’t get me wrong, none of them lasted very long though. For those of you who live in [...]

I did well with my daytrades this week, but my swing trades kept me down. I guess I’m just happy that I didn’t blow up this week. This whole month has been pretty bad. Let’s see if I can get it all back in May.

Alright, so here’s the play that I’m talking about. I’ve gone through a few of the stocks that I follow and pulled out some charts that look similar to what’s happening in the indices right now. Let’s look at the charts first: All of these stocks (SNDK, ENER, RMBS) have done what DIA is doing [...]

No trades this morning yet. The currencies are rallying again. It’s tough to keep strong stocks or futures down. You can try, but they alway seem to bounce back up. I guess that’s why you always go with the flow. The index futures have been pretty much chopping around for the past day and a [...]

I’m still looking to go long the YM here. I’m just waiting for a buy setup to come. I’ll probably get 2 contracts and hold it for that 161.8% extension level that I’ve been talking about. Looks like 13080 would be a nice level to enter. I’m definitely going to be unloading some long positions [...]

I made quite a bit of trades today…five to be exact. I shorted the YM twice for four contracts a pop and lost both times. Then, I went long a few times after the breakout at 13:51 and made it all back. Unfortunately, I missed the bulk of the move as I sold all of [...]

The good news is that I got out of my CAD trade last night. The bad news is that I also got out of my YM long trade. I was horrified when I saw that the YM opened at 13075 this morning! We’re back to the 13024 level now, so I’m not as disappointed. For [...]

I just had one trade today. I went long two contracts of the YM at 12960, sold 1 at 12970 andgot stopped out ofthe other at 12961 for +$47.28. I’m also holding one long contract at 12991. Yeah, it’s only 1 contract, but I am still in a daze here. Still very uncertain about what [...]

Just got back from the practice course. For $10, you can rent a practice hole for an hour. Pretty cool as you can pretty much practice any type of shot with the exception of using any of your woods. Thehole is only about 170 yardsor so. Anyways, let’s revisit these setups again: Look how eerily [...]

I was gonna play some golf at Old Hickory today, but I need to hit the practice course once before I go back out to the real courses. I must’ve lost about a dozen balls at Bristow Manor. My buddy didn’t think that it was a tough course, but I thought that it was pretty [...]
