ER2 trends a lot more than the YM, but it’s also a lot more volatile, some 1 minute bars can have 10 to 15 tick range. Also ER2 is $10 per tick.
YM is stuck within it’s first 30 minute opening range so far, best to just look for extreme TICK fades plus support/resistance/pivot areas for entries.
Be careful trying to implement too many TTM strategies at once, adding too much new stuff can cause confusion.
How did you code the TTM squeeze, is it just the paint bar without a histogram? A simple BB break out of the Keltner channel is only part of the squeeze, the momentum factor also is important.
Thanks Deef. It’s going to take me a little bit to adjust to this new system. Definately gotta be a little careful with these new strategies.
for the squeeze, I just used a paint bar with the keltner channels (20,1.5) and bollinger bands (20,2). And the overlayed the momentum indicator on top of the dots. I’ll have a full writeup on it soon…I promise. Maybe I’ll do it right now during the duldroms…
