This is hilarious:

Boogster – Urban Dictionary

I swear that I did not write that.

Remember that Amazon law that passed in New York?

New York Court Dismisses Amazon’s Objections To Paying State Taxes

Not quite sure what this will lead to in the future.  Not only for gaming affiliates, but also for affiliates of all types of online marketing.

Just saw that Chipotle’s had an app for the iPhone.  Too bad that they had to take it down.  It’d be pretty sick if I could just push a few buttons and go pick up my order.  The iPhone is getting silly-er every day.

Looks like CAP Spring Break will be in Cancun this year.  It’s been almost three years since I’ve attended an affiliate convention.  The last one that I went to was in Amsterdam.  The one before that was in Vegas.  These things are always fun because all of the gaming sites pay to host these top shelf parties each night.  And then, as an affiliate, you get to meet all of the people who you deal with on a daily basis, but have never met before.  And of course, there’s always alcohol involved, and they’re the ones usually buying, which is always good.

I remember in Vegas, getting in a limo with about 20 people that I’ve never met before (some affiliates and some affiliate managers) and going to some club, I think it was Rain at the Palms.  That’s pretty much all I remember from that night.  I also remember a group of Bodog affiliate managers taking me to dinner at some fancy restaurant.  In Amsterdam, I remember getting on some riverboat, floating off somewhere with about 300 other people and umm…oh yeah…there was an open bar.  And then, at another affiliate party, the Titan Poker affiliate manager helped us cut through the line that was about 20 deep.  Good times.

I think that it might be time to meet some of these people who signs our checks each month.  I tell you though, I hate schmoozing.  People always want something at these things.  Then again, a lot of these online gaming sites actually tend to want to work with you more, after you’ve met them in person.  Also, I’ve gotten some good ideas from some of the other affiliates out there.  We’ll see how it goes.  I got like 2 months to decide.

I decided not to go up to AC today.  I really wanted to play in the $350 + $50 deep stack, but I didn’t want to go up there for just one day.  I might go up there on Thursday.  There’s another $350 + $50 non-deep stack next Monday/Tuesday…a 2-day tourney.  I might do that one.  I still wanna win one of these things someday.

I am still just holding 100 shares of SRS.  It’s been a pretty wild ride today.  Seven dollar trading range.  No worries though, since I’m holding peanuts.  If we get past $80, then I’ll start paying attention.  For now, I still sticking to my guns of the market going higher in the near term.  I’m gonna monitor all of the “gurus” and make sure I don’t do anything stupid, while they’re all shorting.

That’s about it for now.  Time for a nap.
