Haven’t been doing much with the markets over the past few weeks. Went to play in a 4-man scramble yesterday at Pleasant Valley. The other three guys that I played with are probably 30+ handicappers. I fuckin looked like a pro playing with them…hah. I read this article yesterday: Newegg’s IPO Filing Reveals The Financials Behind A $2 Billion Electronics Retailer Newegg had $2.1 Billion in sales last year, but do you know what their profit margins were? 1.4%. Holy crap. I didn’t realize that companies with profit margins so low could survive. What shocked me even more was Amazon’s 3.3% profit margin.
